Privacy Policy & SMS Terms
Last updated: May 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ReBe ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit justrebe.com or register for a workshop, cohort, or 1:1 session. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
When you register for a workshop, cohort, or 1:1 session, we collect:
- Name: first and last name
- Email address
- Mobile phone number: only if you provide it
- SMS consent status: whether you opted in to text messages
- Email marketing consent status: whether you opted in to occasional emails
- How you heard about us: optional, for attribution
- Timestamp, IP address, and browser user-agent: when you submit SMS consent, recorded as part of our compliance audit trail
We do not collect Social Security numbers, payment card numbers (payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; we never see or store full card details), or any sensitive personal information beyond what you voluntarily share with us in registration forms or sessions.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Register you for the workshop, cohort, or session you signed up for
- Send you the Zoom link and reminders before your event
- Send confirmation emails and post-event follow-ups
- Communicate with you about other ReBe programs (only if you opted in to marketing emails)
- Maintain a record of your participation across ReBe programs
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. SMS messaging terms
This section governs all SMS (text) messages sent by ReBe through Twilio.
Opt-in
You opt in to receive SMS messages from ReBe by actively checking a dedicated SMS consent checkbox during registration on our website. The checkbox is separate from any other consent (such as email marketing) and is never pre-selected. Consent is not a condition of registration; you may register without opting in to SMS.
Types of messages you'll receive
- Confirmation of your registration
- Reminders before workshops, cohort sessions, or 1:1 sessions (typically one day before and one hour before)
- The Zoom link to join your scheduled event
- Brief follow-up after your session, where appropriate
Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the events you've registered for. Typically you can expect 2–4 messages around each event. We do not send promotional SMS. All messages are transactional and related to events you've registered for.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan. ReBe does not charge you for SMS messages, but your carrier may.
Opt-out
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one final confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent. Opting out of SMS does not unsubscribe you from email communications or remove you from our event registration.
Help
Reply HELP to any SMS for assistance, or contact us at hello@justrebe.com.
Carriers
SMS messages are delivered through major US mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy of mobile information
The mobile information collected from SMS consent (including phone numbers and opt-in records) will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other information categories follow the policies described elsewhere in this document.
4. Email communications
When you register, we may send you transactional emails related to your registration (confirmation, Zoom link, reminders, post-event materials). If you check the optional marketing consent box, we may also send occasional emails about upcoming ReBe programs, workshops, and cohorts.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email. Unsubscribing does not remove you from transactional emails about events you've registered for.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses essential cookies required for the site to function. We may also use limited analytics (such as page view counts) to understand how visitors use the site. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking pixels.
6. Third-party services
We use trusted third-party services to operate ReBe. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies:
- Supabase: hosts our database where registrations and contact information are stored. Supabase Privacy Policy
- Stripe: processes payments for paid programs. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Twilio: sends SMS messages on our behalf. Twilio Privacy Policy
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit): sends email communications. Kit Privacy Policy
- Resend: sends transactional email confirmations. Resend Privacy Policy
- Anthropic: provides the AI model that powers our chat assistant (BB). Anthropic Privacy Policy
- Zoom: hosts live workshops and sessions. Zoom Privacy Policy
- Vercel: hosts our website. Vercel Privacy Policy
6a. AI chat assistant (BB)
Our website includes an AI chat assistant called BB, available on certain pages (such as our cohort and workshop pages). BB is an AI assistant, not a human, and not a therapist, counselor, or crisis service. We disclose this to you when you open the chat.
How BB processes your messages. When you type a message to BB, your text is sent to Anthropic's API (the company that provides the underlying AI model) so that a response can be generated and returned to your browser. Anthropic processes the message on our behalf under their commercial terms. We do not store the content of your chat messages on our servers.
When you ask BB to connect you with our team. On some pages, BB can offer to connect you with a member of the ReBe team. If you accept and submit your name, email, and phone number through the contact form inside BB, we collect that information along with the chat transcript (so the team has context for their reply). That information is sent to us by email and stored only as long as needed to follow up with you. We do not sell or share it with third parties for marketing.
Important. BB is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please call or text 988 (the U.S. Suicide and Crisis Lifeline) or 911 for immediate help.
You should not share information through BB that you would not also be willing to send by email, for example, government IDs, financial account details, or sensitive medical records.
7. Data retention
We retain your registration and contact information for as long as you remain a participant in ReBe programs, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and legal compliance. SMS opt-in audit records are retained for at least four years to satisfy A2P 10DLC and carrier compliance requirements.
If you would like us to delete your information, contact us at hello@justrebe.com and we will honor your request unless we are required by law to retain it.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Request corrections to inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent for SMS or marketing emails at any time
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your information
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@justrebe.com. If you are a California or EU resident, additional rights may apply under CCPA or GDPR; contact us for details.
9. Children's privacy
ReBe is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify registered participants by email.
